Misconception

when I tried to follow
the footsteps
running through the canyons
of my mind
the path became unclear...

I needed to wander
where there was no path

Short and philosophical, Janice...yet, each mind has a way, clearing misconceptions and an open mind is essential too,

Freeing and potentially scary

after Arlene's comment of this being "scary" -- i thought i'd a thought to share, I read it somewhere...

"there are many paths up the mountain....(in the literal and metaphorical sense).....The only thing all the paths have in common is that you must commit yourself and open your mind and heart to learn. There are no shortcuts."

And I guess it's wrong to take such a commitment from an other individual in that journey --- even so, you just don't know when one will be called off from this world! :)

it's beautiful Janice, I've lost my way, and I fear being homeless in the cold

... and what did you find? :)

Even more serious: A fine example for that there is much to put / find within 27 words.
Chapeau.

There are always new possibilities to consider, new paths to make; confusion is not the best state of mind, better change direction, find a new way....I totally agree with your words!

Devika - many thanks and you are correct

Arlene - yes it can indeed be both

Lorraine - I'm so glad that problem has been resolved for the time being

Sean - I found life. Thank you.

Sonia - thanks so much for visiting here too :)

Wanda - I agree...and thank you :)

MB - don't we all...perhaps life would be boring if everything was perfect - and in the end would we appreciate it?

Gabriela - my reader keeps eating you and a couple others up - will bookmark again. Thank you always for your words.
